Pitt WR Addison thinking USC transfer

Pitt WR Addison thinking USC transfer … According to local media reports, star Pittsburgh junior WR Jordan Addison, last year’s Biletnikoff Award winner and a top 10-15 prospect for the 2023 draft is seriously considering transferring to Southern California, although he still has not totally ruled out returning to Pitt. Last year, the 6-0, 175-pound Addison had 100 receptions for just under 1,600 yards and 17 TDs working with Kenny Pickett, the only QB selected in this year’s opening round. If he does ultimately go to USC he’ll be working with the Trojans’ new head coach Lincoln Riley and freshman All-American QB Caleb Williams, both of whom were at Oklahoma in 2021. Ironically, if Addison stay at Pitt, he’ll be catching passes from QB Kedon Slovis who was USC’s guy last fall. Meanwhile, former TCU DE Ochaun Mathis, an intriguing second-tier prospect for the upcoming draft after posting 13 sacks over the past couple of years, confirmed over the weekend that he is transferring to Nebraska.
