Before I get going here let us review the most important rules about how I do this. The prospects are rated by my Rankings. Each Team Mock stands alone, which means all players are available every time I start a new Team Mock. This has confused some of our readers in the past since I end up with the same guy being mocked to multiple teams. However, I cannot assign a team a player who is ranked higher than their Pick until we get to Round 4, then just about anything goes.
I start with full 7 Round projections starting with the most popular teams, based on our site readership and apparent general interest.
Let’s get going with the Super Bowl champion CHIEFS Mock.
Pick 31, Round 1 DARNELL WRIGHT OT Tennessee
Pick 63, Round 2 CEDRIC TILLMAN WR Tennessee
Pick 95, Round 3 DYLAN HORTON DE/ER TCU
Pick 122, Round 4 DENERIC PRINCE RB Tulsa
Pick 134, Round 4 BRENTON STRANGE TE Penn St
Pick 166, Round 5 MORO OJOMO DT Texas
Pick 178, Round 6 JORDAN McFADDEN OG Clemson
Pick 217, Round 6 GERVARRIUS OWENS S Houston
Pick 249, Round 7 HUNTER LUEPKE FB/TE N. Dakota St
Pick 250, Round 7 KOBIE TURNER DL Wake Forest
Their most pressing need is likely the OL, because of the loss of both their starting OT/BROWN & WYLIE. So despite rebuilding their OL just 2 seasons ago they have some patching to do. They also have some mending to do on their DL unit which lost both SAUNDERS & CLARK. And of course you have to get a few more toys for MAHOMES to throw to. I did look for a QB prospect in the later rounds, but they just weren’t there. Maybe they take a flyer on an XFL or USFL QB before Training Camp opens.
