‘Phins closing in on new GM … According to multiple media reports at this hour, Miami is finalizing a deal to bring Green Bay VP of player personnel Jon-Eric Sullivan in as the team’s new general manager. Sullivan has been with the Packers since 2003 where he moved up the personnel department ranks to his current position in 2022. Needless to say, Sullivan will have to hit the ground running when the deal is finalized. The Dolphins fired coach Mike McDaniel yesterday and have been linked with John Harbaugh who was let go by Baltimore earlier this month, although rumors have quickly started to spread that highly-regarded Packers’ defensive co-ordinator Jeff Hafley could also now be very much in the mix there.
