Panthers move up to #1 for the week … After Houston took advantage of a number of Jacksonville blunders to post their first win of the season to get to 1-3-1 and at least for the week drop out of the #1 pick in the current selection for the opening round of the 2023 draft, Carolina slid up to the #1 pick, again at least for the week when the Panthers were crushed at home 37-15 by San Francisco. Las Vegas will have the 2nd pick overall if they lose tomorrow evening’s Monday nighter against Kansas City, while Pittsburgh would have the 3rd pick, Detroit the 4th, Washington the 5th and Houston the 6th. Of course, if the Raiders pull the upset against the Chiefs each of the latter teams would all move up a spot. And yes we will be publishing the initial updated selection order after tomorrow night’s game.
