Panthers shuffle scout staff … Carolina has reorganized its scouting department in the wake of former assistant GM Brandon Beane departure to Buffalo. Mark Koncz, the team’s pro scouting director, has been named the director of player personnel and will have responsibilities for both the college and pro divisions. Meanwhile, Jeff Morrow takes over as the Panthers’ director of college scouting; he replaces Don Gregory, who had held that job the past decade, but now becomes an executive scout. Former pro scout Matt Allen was promoted to director of pro personnel; Jonathan Fields shifts from an assistant college scouting role to an assistant pro scouting position, while Eli Montague becomes an area scout.
