Panthers’ QB Corral out indefinitely … Carolina rookie QB Matt Corral, a 3rd round pick at the 2022 draft, is out indefinitely – and very possibly for the whole year – after reportedly tearing the Lisfranc ligament in his left foot. Playing behind Baker Mayfield and Sam Darnold, Corral wasn’t likely to see much of the field this year, but will lose some valuable practice time. In fact, its been a tough weekend so far for 3rd round picks as OG Logan Bruss, a LA Rams pick in the round tore both his ACL and MCL in the team’s pre-season game Friday night. Bruss, in fact, was the first player the Rams selected this year and had a good chance to start this fall.
