Ottawa stuns Stamps in OT to win Grey Cup … Ottawa pulled off one of the biggest upsets in CFL history when the sub-.500 Redblacks to defeat Calgary 36-30 in overtime to win the 104th edition of the Grey Cup. Calgary had come within a win posting the best regular season record in league history and were as much 10 point favorites. And Calgary looked to have all the momentum when they scored 10 points in the final two minutes to send the game to OT. However, former Buffalo WR Earnest Jackson made a juggling TD catch from Henry Burris in the overtime period to give the Redblacks the lead and then the Ottawa defense forced a three and out for the win. The 41-year-old Burris, a Temple grad who played for Chicago and Green Bay in the early 2000s, was named the games MVP after he completed 35 of 46 passes for 461 yards and 3 scores. All that despite the fact that Burris almost didn’t play at all after he tweaked a knee during pre-game warm-ups.
