OT win drops Bolts down draft order … The LA Chargers upset Las Vegas 30-27 in overtime in what turned out to be a pretty good Thursday night game last evening for those that went to bed early! The Chargers had come into the week in a coin flip situation with Dallas for the #4-5 picks in the current opening round selection order for the 2021 draft so the win drops LA all the way down to the 9th pick, at least for the moment. It also leaves Dallas all alone at the #4 pick, again at least for the moment, and moves each of Carolina, Atlanta and Miami, with Houston’s pick, up a spot. Of course, there could be more changes depending on the results of the rest of this week’s games, although just about every team currently sitting on a top ten pick will be underdogs this weekend. The NY Jets, the NFL’s last remaining winless team, for example, will be in LA to play the Rams, while Jacksonville, which currently holds the 2nd pick, will be at Baltimore, and Cincinnati, at #3, will be hosting Pittsburgh.
