Orange DE enters draft … Syracuse junior DE Ron Thompson has announced via twitter that he is leaving school and will be entering the 2016 draft. The 6-3, 255-pound Thompson had 5 sacks for the Orange this past season and could conceivably get some later round looks from 3-4 teams looking to add some edge rush depth at OLB. By our unofficial count, Thompson is the 23rd underclassmen to indicate in one way or another that they will be entering the 2016 draft. Underclassmen have until January 18th to file paperwork with the NFL to be eligible to be selected in this year’s draft.
