One Cowboy rook cleared; still waiting on Elliott … Dallas rookie QB Dak Prescott, a 4th round pick at the 2016 draft, can turn his focus back to football after the former Mississippi State star was was found not guilty of DUI and speeding back in March. Meanwhile, the Cowboys still aren’t sure about the status of RB Zeke Elliott, the team’s first-round pick this year. Elliott, the 4th player selected overall this past April, is under a cloud after a woman in Columbus, believed to be a former girlfriend filed two domestic assault claims against him, although to date their has been no formal charges laid against Elliott.
