Ole Miss WR won’t run at combine

February 22, 2016

Ole Miss WR won’t run at combine … Mississippi WR Laquon Treadwell, the consensus top prospect at the position in the 2016 draft, reportedly has decided that he won’t run the 40 at this week’s scouting combine in Indianapolis. Instead, Treadwell will run at the Ole Miss pro day on March 28th. Its an interesting decision by Treadwell who NFL teams are reportedly having some second thoughts about, at least as a possible top ten prospect this year, in lareg part because of concerns of his explosiveness and long speed. And the fact that Treadwell won’t address that concern at the combine isn’t going to make that red flag go away. Figure, though, that when all is said and done, Treadwell won’t be the only top prospect to choose not to fully participate in the on-field testing at the combine. Stay tuned.
