Ole Miss DT explains fall; implicates potential #1 pick … Needless to say when former Mississppi DT Robert Nkemdiche met with reporters at a combine interview earlier today there were plenty of questions about that infamous fall from a hotel window that left him hospitaized briefly, not to mention suspended from the Rebels Sugar Bowl win over Oklahoma State after police found marijuana in Nkemdiche’s room. According to Nkemdiche, though, there was actually a party going on in at which he was drunk which led to his fall out the window. And because the room was in his name, Nkemdiche took the fall for the drugs. The plot thickens even more though as Nkemdiche added, for no apparent reason, that Ole Miss OT Laremy Tunsil, who is in line to be the #1 pick overall at this year’s draft, was also at the matter. There was no suggestion, though, that the marijuana was Tunsil’s but now he’ll have a whole bunch of questions to answer from NFL execs over the course of the next few months himself. Stay tuned.
