Maybe not so fast on OT Stanley to Bolts … One of the hot rumors over the course the past 2-3 days is that Notre Dame OT Ronnie Stanley was very much in play for San Diego with the 3rd pick overall at this evening’s draft. However, Chargers’ GM Tom Telesco my have thrown some cold water on that one when he indicated in an interview on ESPN radio earlier this afternoon that San Diego has actually been locked in on one player all along. That would pretty much rule out Stanley who has not generally been considered to have been rated that highly until very recently. Needless to say, Telesco didn’t fill in the final blank and indicate exactly which player the Chargers are focused in on, but Ole Miss OT Laremy Tunsil and Florida State DB Jalen Ramsey figure to be the best players available at that point, while Oregon DE DeForest Buckner could be a wild card as potentially the best fit for the team’s biggest need.
