Niners sent WR Samuel to WashComs for 5th rounder … NFL teams still can’t formally make trades for another couple of weeks, but San Francisco has reportedly agreed in principle to send star WR Deebo Samuel to Washington in exchange for a 5th round pick. That means Washington, which does have plenty of cap space, will have to pick up Samuel’s $22M cap and may only have him for a year as he’ll be a free agent at the end of the 2025 season.
