NFL trade deadline looming … The NFL trading period officially comes to an end at 4 PM ET later this afternoon. And while historically there have been few deals at the deadline there is at least some buzz this year with a number of veterans believed to at least be available. At the same time, there are a number of teams that are reported to be looking to fill some specific hole on their respective rosters so there is at least the possibility of some movement today. Perhaps the biggest name player believed to be available is Cleveland LT Joe Thomas, a perennial Pro Bowler whom the Browns would reportedly consider moving for a 2nd round pick. It is also possible that the Browns could deal CB Joe Haden. Meanwhile, other players who have been rumored to be available include San Francisco OT Joe Staley and New York Jets DT Sheldon Richardson.
