NFL releases official of underclassmen in 2021 draft … As promised the NFL released the final list of underclassmen who have been granted eligibility to the 2021 draft earlier today. The NFL’s final list includes 131 players – the same number as on our unofficial listing – and includes 98 juniors and redshirt sophomores who have been out of high school three years, but have yet to graduate. That was one fewer than last year and less than the all-time high of 106 set in 2018. At the same time, the NFL’s final list also includes 30 players with remaining college eligibility who had already completed their degree requirements, almost double the number (16) from the previous year. These players only had to notify the NFL of their intentions for the draft rather than fill out the required paperwork.
