NFL great John Madden passes … Sad news this evening as it has been announced that former NFL coach and broadcaster John Madden has passed away at age 85. Madden coached Oakland for ten years which included a Super Bowl win. However, his greater contribution to the game was as a television color analyst who did as much as anybody to popularize the game with his folksy style. Along with everyone else connected with the game, our condolences to his family and friends. He will be missed!
