Irish WR Robinson retires … Notre Dame has announced that senior WR Corey Robinson has decided to give up football after suffering several concussions. The 6-5 Robinson, the son of former Navy Basketball Hall of Fame star David ‘The Admiral’ Robinson, was considered to be a future prospect earlier in his career, but his productivity and playing declined in 2015 when he caught just 16 passes. Robinson will with the team as a student assistant this fall when he will also serve as the president of the school’s student government.
