NCAA denies Ole Miss QB Chambliss appeal … The NCAA has reportedly denied the appeal of Mississippi QB Trinidad Chambliss‘ for a 6th year of eligibility. Chambliss claimed that one of the redshirt years he took at FCS Ferris State was actually for a medical condition and that he it should not count against his 4-year eligibility window. The school is going to appeal to the full NCAA, while Chambliss is also reportedly exploring his other legal options. If denied, Chambliss will b out of eligibility and will have to enter the upcoming draft where he is projected to be a mid-to-late round prospect.
