Mr. Smith headed to Vegas … In a deal that is sure to shake up the NFL’s current game of QB musical chairs, Las Vegas has acquired veteran QB Geno Smith from Las Vegas for a 3rd round pick this coming April. The Raiders had been considered to be the odds on favorite to land soon-to-be free agent Sam Darnold when the new football year starts next week. Which may in turn make Seattle a leading candidate to sign Darnold themselves, although it also may make both Tennessee and the NY Giants more likely destinations for Darnold either move of which would obviously shake up the draft.
