SEC MLB Brown enters draft … Mississippi State lost its third junior to the 2016 draft when junior MLB Beniquez Brown announced he will forgo his final year of eligibility and turn pro this winter. Brown joined former Bulldog teammates WR De’Runnya Wilson and DT Chris Jones, two other juniors who had previously declared for the draft. The 6-1, 240-pound Brown, who is projected to run in the low-to-mid 4.8 range in the 40, started the last two years Bulldogs, finishing second on the team in tackles each year, including 99 in 2015. He also had 11 tackles for loss to go with four sacks this season. Brown, though, is still considered to be more a late round or free agent prospect.
