Second x-Mississippi State prospect arrested, charged with driving offense … Former Mississippi State DT Chris Jones, a second-day prospect for the 2016 draft, was stopped for speeding and then arrested for driving with a suspended on Wednesday, according to the local sheriff’s office. Jones was subsequently released on which was set at $922; Jones’ license had been suspended because of an unpaid speeding ticket from December. Jones is in fact the second former Bulldog with NFL prospects arrested within the past week after star QB Zak Prescott was charged with DUI last weekend. The charge against Jones is probably not serious enough to impact Jones’ final draft grade, but the timing still isn’t great.
