Michigan OT Mayfield opts out … Michigan redshirt sophomore OT Jalen Mayfield has decided to skip the 2020 season and declare for the upcoming draft. Of course, because the Big Ten won’t play at least until the spring because of concerns about the pandemic it wasn’t clear that Mayfield was actually going to be able to play anyway. The 6-5, 320-pound Mayfield started all 13 Michigan games last fall at RT and is considered to have at least some late first-round potential for the 2021 draft.
