Michigan DE turns corner

Michigan DE turning corner; won’t seek extra year in school … Michigan DE Mario Ojemudia has apparently decided not seek a medical redshirt and will be entering the 2016 draft. Ojemudia, who tore his Achilles in the Wolverines’ 5th game of the year, one past the deadline that would have made him eligible to get a redshirt year, had reportedly been exploring the possibility of appealing to the NCAA for an exemption, but apparently had a change of heart. The 6-2, 255-pound Ojemudia, who reportedly ran in the 4.65 range coming out of high school, had 6 tackles for loss including a couple of sacks in the 4-plus games he did play this fall and figures to draw some late-round or free-agent from 3/4 teams looking for an edeg-rushing OLB.
