Miami-WFT trade for OG Flowers finalized … Took awhile to be announced but the details in that trade earlier today in which Miami sent veteran OG Ereck Flowers to Washington have been confirmed. In a deal, that is sure to shake up the 2021 draft, the teams swapped 7th round picks with Miami getting #244 from Washington, while the No-names get #258 from the Dolphins. To complete the deal, Flowers agreed on a restructured contract that gives Miami something in the area of $2M in cap relief. Flowers, who originally came into the league as a first-round pick by the Giants in 2015, is actually going back to Washington as he signed with the No-names after being released by the Giants in 2018. Then after resurrecting his career in 2019 as an OG, he signed a big free agent deal with Miami prior to the start of the 2020 season. With the completion of the deal, the 2021 draft selection order as well as the picks by team files have been updated.
