LSU FS Adams heads list of underclassmen declaring today ... LSU junior FS Jamar Adams, a potential top 10 prospect for the upcoming draft, highlites a rather lengthy list of underclassmen who announced today that they would be entering the 2017 draft. While he is one of the highest rated players for this year’s draft, there had been whispers out of the program that Adams, the some of George Adams, the former Kntucky RB who was a first round pick of the Giants in 1985, was having second thoughts on entering this year’s draft. Speaking of second thoughts, North Carolina junior RB Elijah Hood, who had said some weeks ago that he would be returning to school, has apparently changed his mind and will enter this year’s draft. Meanwhile, other underclassmen who entered the draft today include juniors DT Caleb Brantley of Florida, Kansas State OLB Elijah Lee, Southern Cal OG Damien Mama, and RB Devine Redding and ILB Marcus Oliver of Indiana, along with Houston redshirt sophomore CB Howard Wilson.
