Could home-cooking shuffle early picks … Both Detroit and Houston, which would have the 1st and 2nd picks respectively were the 2023 draft to be held last week, will be home in early games Sunday afternoon. The Lions, for example, will be hosting Miami, while the Texans are hosting division rival Tennessee that will be without starting QB Ryan Tannehill. Meanwhile, Carolina, which was sitting on the third pick this week, will be at Atlanta, which would have had the 10th selection. In fact, there are a number of other games involving teams with top ten picks. That includes the Sunday morning game from London between Denver and Jacksonville, which are sitting on the 6th and 8th picks respectively, although the Broncos pick actually belongs to Seattle as a result of the Russell Wilson trade. At the same time, #3 Carolina will be at #10 Atlanta, while #4 New Orleans, who’s pick belongs to Philadelphia, will be hosting #9 Las Vegas.
