Lions shuffle personnel department deck … Detroit has announced that longtime scout Lance Newmark will be taking over from Sean McEwen as the team’s director of college scouting. McEwen has been promoted to senior personnel executive with duties as a national scout and adviser to G.M. Matthew Mayhew. The Lions also promoted Cedric Saunders to senior vice president of football operations.
