Lions lose top player for stretch run … Detroit’s chances of ending up with the #1 pick at the 2022 draft got a boost today with word that star TE T.J. Hockenson, one of the Lions’ few bright lights this year, will miss the final month of the campaign with a thumb injury. Hockenson leads the Lions in receiving with 61 catches for almost 600 yards as he has emerged as one of QB Jared Goff’s very few reliable receivers.
