Lions get PK from Jags for late future pick … Detroit has acquired veteran PK Riley Patterson from Jacksonville in exchange for a conditional 2026 7th round draft pick. The Jaguars were reportedly set to waive Patterson after signing former Denver PK Brandon McManus earlier this week. Patterson, who actually kicked for the Lions in 2021 will compete with fellow veterans Michael Badgley and John Parker Romo for the team’s PK job. As far as we can tell, this is the first trade involving a 2026 pick.
