Lions raid Pats for G.M. … Detroit has agreed in principle with New England personnel exec Bob Quinn to become the Lions’ new general manager. The 39-year-old Quinn, who most recently has been the Patriots’ director of pro scouting, replaces Martin Mayhew two months ago along with team president Tom Lewand. The first order of business for Quinn in his new role is to decide the fate of head coach Jim Caldwell in the wake of a disappointing 7-9 season for the Lions.
