Life descends on NFL; AGM cncelled; pro day sched at risk … You kind of knew it had to happen as the COVID-19 virus threat has now caught up with the NFL. The league has announced that the AGM scheduled for later this month has at least been postponed, although the league is saying that the start of the new NFL football year, which officially begins next Wednesday is still on. And while the draft is still on for next month as scheduled, there are growing concerns that the big draft party set for Las Vegas is very much at risk. It also appears that the pro day schedule could also be very much in jeopardy. Penn State and Michigan have both announced that they have cancelled their upcoming pro days, while as many as a half dozen NFL teams have already pulled their scouting staffs off the road. Washington was the first team to order its scouts home earlier this week with Miami, Minnesota, Philadelphia and both New York teams quickly followed suit. There are also reports that several teams have also cancelled their allowed on-site visits from prospects prior to the draft. Stay tuned and wash your hands!!
