LB Jack does not run

March 15, 2016

UCLA, Baylor pro day updates, updated … In the end, UCLA LB Myles Jack did not run the 40 at the Bruins’ pro day this afternoon. Apparently, jack, a top 5 prospect for the 2016 draft who has been sidelined since September after undergoing season-ending surgery to repair a torn MCL, was advised by the school’s athletic training staff not to staff until he’s closer t0 100% recovered. Jack had indicated last week that he had been cleared to run so all 32 teams had reps at the UCLA pro day, including as many as 8 that had their GMs in L.A. along with what was reported as over 100 total scouts and coaches. Mack, though, indicated that in fact he’s only 80% of the way back and now plans to run at a private workout on April 1st. Mack, though, didn’t exactly sit on his thumbs at the UCLA workout today. he did post a very impressive 40″ vertical that would have been in the top 10 among all positions; he also reportedly looked very good in the positional drills. Meanwhile, the reason why results from Baylor and WR Corey Coleman’s run were so slow coming in was that we had the wrong day. The Baylor pro day is actually scheduled for tomorrow. Our bad!
