LB Dean doesn’t run at Dawgs’ pro day … As expected, over 120 NFL personnel people were at this morning’s por day at national champion Georgia. However, the most anticipated aspect of the day never came off as star ILB Nakobe Dean, who did not run at the combine, was unable to participate because of a strained pectoral muscle injured while training for the draft. Dean reportedly still hopes to be able to run at a private workout prior to the draft, but there is no timetable for that at this time. Meanwhile, CB Derion Kendrick, who also didn’t run at the combine, did workout today but had a very poor outing as he was only able to post a pedestrian 31-inch vertical and even more pedestrian 40 times in the mid 4.7 range. At the same time, ILBs Channing Tindall and Quay Walker didn’t run at they had done so at the combine, but both did the agility drills and reportedly posted very quick times.
