LB Bowen leaves Nittany Lions squad … Penn State LB Manny Bowen, who had been considered to be a decent late round or free agent prospect for the 2019 draft, has left the team just three weeks after being re-instated from a late season suspension last fall. Bowen, who started 21 games for the Nittany Lions over the past two years, reportedly will remain in school and plans to graduate. Not clear yet though whether he still wants to play football somewhere. If he does, Bowen could transfer as he has yet to redshirt and play s0mewhere else next year or he could simply enter the 2019 draft and take his chances in the NFL.
