Auburn DE Lawson back in action … For the record, Auburn redshirt sophomore DE Carl Lawson, one of the most explosive pure pass rushers in college football, is back in uniform and on the field as the Tigers take on Mississippi. Lawson, who did not play in 2014 because of a torn ACL, injured his hip in the season opener with Louisville, and hasn’t played or practiced since. And while he is not playing every down, Lawson doesn’t look all that rusty as he has already had a couple of QB hurries on which he probably should have had a sack. However, Lawson is playing primarily on the left side of the Auburn defense meaning he likely won’t get many snaps going straight up against star Ole Miss LT Laremy Tunsil.
