Knee could cost Vikes’ rook QB season … It has been a bit of a tough day for members of the NFL’s 2024 draft clas. An MRI in Minneapolis confirmed that Vikings’ QB JJ McCarthy, the 10th player selected at last April’s draft, tore an MCL in Saturday’s pre-season game with Las Vegas. At the same time, NY Giants’ RB Tyrone Tracey, a 5th round pick this year, was carted off the field during today’s practice session with what is believed to be a serious ankle sprain. And the immediate football status of Cleveland DT Michael Hall, a second rounder this past April, is somewhat up in the air after he was arrested following a domestic dispute in which he allegedly threatened his fiance with a gun.
