Kiper posts updated top 25; new #1 QB … Right on cue, following up on our report about the rise of Pitt QB Kenny Pickett from earlier tonight, ESPN draft analyst Mel Kiper has posted an updated top 25 prospects ranking for the 2022 draft. And Kiper has Pickett as the #1 QB on his new board, although the Pitt star is only ranked 15th overall, while Matt Corral of Ole Miss is 20th and Cincinnati’s Desmond Ridder 25th. The big mover on Kiper’s board is Southern Cal WR Drake London is all the way up to #4 overall. We have no problem with that as we have been touting London as arguably the best player in all college football for the past couple of weeks; we also wouldn’t be shocked if London were to ultimately go first overall on April 28th. For now, though, Kiper still has Oregon DE Kayvon Thibodeaux as his top prospect overall, followed by DBs Kyle Hamilton of Notre Dame and LSU’s Derek Stingley, although both are currently out with injuries.
