Kiffin to LSU … In college football’s worst kept secret this weekend, Lane Kiffin has announced that he has indeed agreed to coach LSU going forward. Kiffin claimed that he asked for permission to remain at Mississippi until the Rebels season was done as Ole Miss is still very much in the CFP playoff picture, but was turned down. That means that ironically Kiffin’s last game with the Rebels was this weekend’s Egg Bowl win over arch-rival Mississippi State because as of this hour there’s egg not all over the face of Kiffin, but also college football in general and the NCAA in particular. The simple solution, of course, would be simply to ban teams from contacting prospective head coaches until their seasons are complete.
