49ers denying QB trade rumors … San Francisco is strongly denying a report late last night that the team had fielded trade offers for QB Colin Kaepernick. According to a report on a Houston radio station the 49ersd have talked with both Chicago and Philadelphia about a deal involving Kaepernick, who signed a big, long-term contract prior to the start of the 2014 season and then proceeded to struggle through a down year. Of course, it could simply be that other teams called the 49ers to inquire about Kaepernick’s availability and were told no. The other shoe here is Jay Cutler of Chicago who is also believed to be very much oin the market as we head toward the start of the 2015 NFL year which begins at 4 PM ET tomorrow. Stay tuned.
