Just 14 weeks to go!!! … We mentioned the other day that there are now less than 100 days until the start of the 2025 college football season. In fact, 14 weeks today, the college season kicks off on Saturday August 30th. And for those that haven’t peeked ahead to the upcoming college schedule it could be a dramatic opening day with a number of really intriguing match-ups with national implications. For starters, Texas will play defending national champion Ohio State in what is widely expected the debut of Arch Manning, already the presumptive #1 prospect for the 2026 draft, as the Longhorns’ starting QB. And speaking of the 2026 draft, LSU and Clemson, which both have potential top 5 draft classes for next April, will face each other in a ‘Tiger Bowl’. That game will feature two of the top returning QB prospects for next year in Garrett Nussmeier of LSU and Clemson’s Cade Kubnik. Meanwhile, other games on August 30th include Alabama versus Florida State, Utah/UCLA and Tennessee/Syracuse, while Notre Dame and Miami will renew that old rivalry the next day. hang in there!
