Jets so close, but lose again at buzzer; still #1 in draft selection order … Tonight’s game against New England may have been the NY Jets best chance to finally get a win this fall. And for almost 58 minutes, the Jets looked like they would in fact finally get that elusive win. However, the Patriots scored 10 points in the final two minutes – the winner coming on a 51-yard FG at the buzzer – dropping the Jets to 0-9 and keeping them clearly in the lead to end up with the top pick at the 2021 draft and, of course, a shot at Clemson QB Trevor Lawrence.
