Jets, ‘Skins in key draft matchup

Jets, ‘Skins in key draft matchup … There is the potential for a major shakeup in the current 2020 draft selection order after today’s game in Washington where the NY Jets will play the Redskins in an early Sunday afternoon game. If the draft had been held last week, the 1-8 Redskins would have had the 2nd pick overall, while the Jets would have picked 5th. In particular, a win by the Redskins, who have a reasonably strong SOS figure (.524), could drop all the way to the 5th pick in next week’s order. Elsewhere, Cincinnati, the NFL’s only remaining winless team, will play at Oakland in a late game this afternoon, while Miami, now at #4, will go for a 3rd straight win at home against Buffalo and #6 Atlanta plays at Carolina. Meanwhile, the NY Giants, who currently hold the #3 pick overall were the draft held today, are on the bye. As usual, the selection order for the upcoming draft were it to be held this week, will be updated after tomorrow night’s Monday game.
