Jets, Pats highlight weekend draft games

November 7, 2020

Multiple games on weekend sched with major draft implications … When was the last time that a game involving New England and the NY Jets had draft implications for both teams? Anyone? Whenever, it happens on Monday night when the Jets, the NFL’s last remaining winless team, hosts the 2-5 Patriots who would have the 10th pick overall. In fact, Monday’s game could be the Jets best chance to actually get a win this year. Meanwhile, there will almost assuredly be some reshuffling of the draft deck as Jacksonville, which currently holds the 3rd pick, hosts Houston, which sits 4th, although the pick actually belongs to Miami. At the same time, the Giants, who are sitting on the 2nd pick, will be at 2-5 Washington, which holds the 7th selection. A couple of other games have Atlanta and Minnesota, which sit 6th and 9th respectively, have winnable home games against 3-4 teams. The Falcons host Denver, while the Vikings greet Detroit. Have a great weekend!
