Jets lose again and keep top pick for week; bench QB Fields … Another week in the NFL; another week of offensive ineptitude by the NY Jets. A week after the Jets piled up net minus passing yards in London in a loss to Denver, they scored just 6 points in a 13-6 home defeat at the hands of Carolina. That drops the Jets to 0-7 and, as the league’s last remaining winless team, sitting on the #1 pick in the 2026 first round selection order, at least for another week. And the Jets dropped a huge hint what they might do with that top pick overall if in fact they do end up with it as they benched QB Justin Fields after another ineffective performance.
