Jets, Jags 1-2 in updated weelky selection order

Jets, Jags 1-2 in updated weekly selection order … Win or lose in tomorrow night’s game between the NY Jets and New England, the Jets will keep the #1 pick at the 2021 draft for at least another week. Jacksonville, though, will move up to the 2nd slot after losing to Houston when a last-minute two-point conversion to tie failed, while the Giants, who went into the week with the #2 pick, drop down to 4th after holding on to defeat Washington in the nation’s capitol.  Meanwhile, Dallas gave Pittsburgh, the NFL’s only remaining unbeaten team, all they could handle, but ultimately lost when a last-play pass was knocked down in the Steelers’ end zone. That dropped the Cowboys to 2-7 and moves them up to the 3rd pick, at least for this week. In fact, if the draft were to be held this week, there would be a run on NFC East teams in the top 5 as Washington will end the week sitting on the 5th pick, followed by the LA Chargers at #6, and Miami, with Houston’s pick at #7. As usual, the full first-round selection order will be updated after tomorrow’s Monday night game.
