Jets, Giants 1-2 in weekly draft … If the 2021 draft were to be held this week it would have a very big apple flavor as the two New York teams would be picking first and second. The Jets, the NFL’s lone remaining winless team, threw a scare into division-leading Buffalo when they took an early 10-0 lead over the Bills earlier today, but it wasn’t enough as the Jets didn’t score again and ultimately lost 18-10 to drop to 0-7. As a result, the Jets will control the 1st overall pick in the 2021 selection order were it to be held this week, for at least another week. Meanwhile, the Giants moved up into the #2 spot after Washington drilled Dallas in DC, with Jacksonville moving into the #3 position followed by Atlanta and Miami, with Houston’s pick, sitting 4th and 5th. Meanwhile, Minnesota, Cincinnati, Dallas, Washington and the LA Chargers will round out the top ten when the updated selection order is posted after Monday night’s game.
