Still more bowls … One would think that after yesterday’s two national semi-final games in the Rose and Sugar Bowls that that would pretty much be it for college football until Ohio State and Oregon hook up in the national championship game on January 12th. However, one would be wrong. There are in fact 4 more bowl games today, although truth be told they appear to have had to scrape the bottom of the barrel to find the teams. Indeed, only two of the 8 teams playing in today’s games won as many as 9 games this fall, whereas 5 of the 8 won 7 or less with three posting 6-6 records. Still, there will be as many as a half dozen potential first-round prospects for the 2015 draft on the field later today. Here’s a quick preview of who to watch in today’s bowl action with an eye toward the upcoming draft.
