Jags RB Etienne done for year … This week’s roster deadline came and went earlier today, but unlike last week, there was a major transaction involving a 2021 draft pick. Jacksonville has placed RB Travis Etienne, the team’s 2nd of two first round picks at this past spring’s draft on injured reserve. Etienne, the 25th player selected this past April, suffered a foot injury early in Monday’s pre-season game with New Orleans and will require season-ending surgery. As far as we can tell, Etienne is the first 2021 draft pick to have been designated for the year. That, of course, will change over the next week or so as all teams have to be down to the 53-man roster limit by 4 PM ET next Tuesday.
