Irish QB Kiper enters draft … Notre Dame redshirt sophomore QB DeShone Kizer has formally announced that he will be entering the 2017 where he figures to be one of the top 2-3 QBs off the board this coming April. There are reports, for example, that Cleveland, which likely will end up with one the top 2 picks this year, has scouted Kizer extensively, although there are other reports that Cleveland really, really likes Texas A&M DE Myles Garrett. Of course, Cleveland also has a second first round pick this year after acquiring Philadelphia’s #1 in a draft day trade last year so the Browns will have options. Meanwhile, Notre Dame got some modest good news as ILB Nyles Morgan, one of 4 Irish underclassmen to request an evaluation from the NFL’s draft evaluation committee, has announced that he will be returning to school for the 2017 campaign.
